San Diego State Football River Park Block Party

For home games during the 2024 football season, San Diego State University held a series of River Park Block Parties just outside Snapdragon Stadium. These free, public bashes served as a sort of open tailgate, letting football fans get pumped before kickoff. At the center of each party, PCE provided staging and audio.

This video showcases the River Park Block Party before San Diego State's October 5 bout against Hawaii (a win for the Aztecs!). PCE provided slightly different production packages before each SDSU home game, but this one featured our new Apex 2016 Mobile Stage and a QSC audio package. We hung a QSC KLA12 line array from the stage, with QSC K10.2 monitors, and RCF SUB 8006-AS subwoofers. Our team mixed the show (which featured a DJ with Pioneer CDJ-2000 NXS2 and Pioneer DJM-900 NXS from PCE Backline) via an Allen & Heath Qu-24.
