PCE Integration: Hotel Maya

The Hotel Maya is a 4-star hotel that sits on the Queensway Bay in Long Beach right next to the famous Queen Mary. One of the premiere event venues on the hotel property is the Lagunita Pavilion, a permanent, tent-like structure perfect for weddings, corporate retreats, and other events.

The Hotel Maya recently called on PCE to outfit the Lagunita Pavilion with a new RGB lighting package. Because the Lagunita Pavilion sits right by the water, we had to choose IP-rated equipment that would withstand the condensation in the sea salt air. We ultimately settled on the Martin Exterior Linear Pro Graze QUAD to get the job done. This fixture can cast light from the corners of the room all the way to the ceiling, and its RGB capabilities make it easy to thematically light the room for any style of event.

We hooked the Martin Exterior Linear Pro Graze QUAD lights into a Strand FLX S24 lighting console, controls chosen for their intuitive simplicity. This lighting integration project will help the Lagunita Pavilion at Hotel Maya shine for many years to come.
