Concept Art Awards
The annual Concept Art Association Awards recognize the best achievements in preproduction art in the film, TV, and videogame industries. PCE has harnessed its expertise to make this ceremony shine for a few years running, offering lighting, video, and audio production.
One of the first things guest noticed upon entering the Pasadena Civic Auditorium? How about the twelve Robe PATT-13 retro scoop lights positioned on the stage to provide some stunning eye candy. We augmented these beauties with a few Martin MAC Quantum Profile fixtures on the stage floor.
The Concept Art Association films its awards presentation for web distribution and image magnification purposes. PCE gave them the tools to do this, offering a pair of Panasonic AW-UE70 PTZ cameras in addition to Christie Boxer 4K and Panasonic PT-RZ790 projectors. This fed into a Blackmagic ATEM Constellation 2 ME switcher loaded with Concept Art Association content.
The Pasadena Civic Auditorium has a built-in line array system, but PCE augmented this existing audio with QSC K10.2 band wedges and DPA 4088 Headset Microphones for the event's presenters.
