CHOC Mental Health Lunch with Henry Winkler

The annual CHOC Mental Health Lunch brings the CHOC family together to discuss children and teen mental health issues, while also raising funding for treatment. The Fonz himself (actor Henry Winkler) stole the show at the October 2024 iteration with a hilarious and touching speech on his experiences as a father and son, while PCE production made the event a smooth and memorable experience.

Our team transformed the room with Chauvet Freedom Par uplights positioned around the space for constant wash lighting. ETC ColorSource Spot lekos and Chauvet Ovation B-280FC strip lights made the stage pop, while a PCE lighting designer operated a Strand FLX S24 console.

The event also included a live video component, with Blackmagic URSA Broadcast G2 cameras and a Blackmagic ATEM Constellation 1 ME switcher projecting images onto projection screens via Panasonic PT-RZ790 laser projectors.

PCE also tackled audio, positioning QSC KW122 powered speakers around the room for full coverage. The event speakers used the Shure ULXD system, with wireless podium mics, handhelds, and lavaliers (Mr. Winkler's choice). A PCE audio engineer mixed the show with an Allen & Heath Qu-16 audio console. Our team worked together to put on the show through while communicating via the Hollyland Wireless Comms System.
