From Jim Henson Studios in Hollywood, it's Puppet Up!
In July, we had an absolute blast providing video, lighting, audio, rigging, and more for Puppet Up! Uncensored at the legendary Jim Henson Studios in Hollywood! Puppet Up! Uncensored is a hilarious, adult-themed puppet improv show from Brian Henson, Henson Alternative, and WestBeth Entertainment.
To put on a puppet-based stage show for a large audience, the production has to clear a major, obvious hurdle: namely, how to convey the performance-based subtleties of tiny puppets to guests throughout the theater. The solution? PCE video! Cameras, projectors, and video switchers allow everyone in the building to follow the action, and even allow for some advanced effects like live keying and live cloning.
